The wilderness survival campout is intended to help Scouts work toward their wilderness survival merit badge, but everyone's welcome to join us. In years past, we've had campers pack up their stuff (without tents) and take a hike into the back woods, where we'd find a comfortable-looking thicket to set up a lean-to or similar shelter and spend the night. If you're interested in this badge or (especially) if you've got a partial to clean up, be sure to attend!
We're going to be camping at Camp Tuscazoar, which, according to Mr. Graves, was a Scout camp back in his day. The Camp Tuscazoar web site has a "history" page that would seem to corroborate that (we're not supposed to recognize any of these guys, are we Ed?).
Note: Apparently, there are some online maps that don't do too well guiding you to camp, so the web site has a page with good directions.
